Raising Cane's Chicken is coming to Boardman.

The Boardman Zoning Office reports that the fast-food restaurant is going to be located at 450 Boardman-Poland Rd.

That location is the site of the old Mayo & Associates Inc., Realtors building and is situated across from The Shops at Boardman Park.

According to the company, Raising Cane's was founded by Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, La.,

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has more than 385 restaurants in 24 states, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates with multiple new restaurants under construction. The company says they have "ONE LOVE®—quality chicken finger meals".

Raising Cane's says their vision is to have restaurants all over the world and be the brand for quality chicken finger meals, a great crew, cool culture and active community involvement.

The company has not yet said how many employees they intend to hire, however, a link posted to their social media pages says they are currently searching for a General manager for the store.
