Ohio Edison crews are working to restore power to Trumbull County customers on Sunday evening. 

Just before 8 p.m., there were about 1,500 customers without power. Originally, more than 3,600 were without power in Trumbull County.

Meteorologist Andrew DiPaolo said the power may have gone out for a number of people due to strong winds reaching up to 52 mph.

There were also nearly 1,000 without power in Mahoning County, the most being in Youngstown. Most power has been restored throughout Mahoning County.

Champion Township: 133
