LIBERTY TWP, Ohio -

Liberty police are investigating after someone stole part of a township couple's holiday display.

An officer was sent to a house on East Montrose Street just after 7:30 am Thursday when the homeowners found a lighted doe decoration missing, and a lighted deer knocked over and broken.

In addition, extension cords from the display were also stolen.

The owner tells 21 News that the stolen items are worth more than a couple hundred dollars.

The victims asked 21 News to post a picture of the display in case someone recognizes the stolen doe somewhere else.

Anyone with information can call the Liberty Police Department at 330-759-1315.
