A Liberty Township restaurant that's been serving seafood for 18 years has closed permanently according to a post on the company's Facebook page.

According to a post from the Youngstown Crab Company, the Trumbull County Courts dissolved the corporation due to an “ownership deadlock”.

Restaurant co-owner Robert Cerimele filed a complaint against co-owner Sally Grabovac in 2015 alleging misappropriation of funds, breach of fiduciary duty, and accounting at the Belmont Avenue business.

Grabovac filed a counterclaim for embezzlement.

The magistrate notes that the Cerimele and Grabovac, who owned equal shares of the company, cannot come to an agreement on the day to day management and operation of the restaurant.

As a result, the magistrate has appointed a receiver to wind up business affairs of the restaurant.

The restaurant opened in 2000.
