Pennsylvania State Police canceled a statewide Amber Child Abduction Alert after a sixteen-year-old girl was found safe

PENN HILLS, Pennsylvania - Pennsylvania State Police canceled a statewide Amber Child Abduction Alert after a sixteen-year-old girl was found safe Thursday morning and a suspect was arrested.

Te Penn Hill Police Department in Allegheny County issued the alert late Wednesday for sixteen-year-old Marjani Aquil who was last seen on January 16 in Penn Hills.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Aquil was abducted by nineteen-year-old Jermaine Laquay Rodgers.

Dispatchers told 21 News that police have located both Aquil and Rodgers.
