Communities come together to mourn the loss of Hickory High School students

Posted: Updated:
HERMITAGE, Pa. -

The Hermitage community is still coming together to help the families of four girls involved in that fatal crash on I-80 Sunday night.

Two of those girls, 16-year-old Alexis Myers and 15-year-old Danielle Nelson died in the crash.

As a show of support, the Hickory Wrestling Boosters are now donating bracelets with the works "Hornet Strong" on them.

The bracelets are four dollars each, and 100% of the profits will be split between the four families.

They are being sold at Lindy's At the Beach and Scheidemantle Motors.

More businesses are expected to receive the bracelets.

Another show of support and sportsmanship came at the Hermitage and West Middlesex elementary school basketball game today.

The fourth-grade team from West Middlesex held up a banner before the game that read "Hornet Strong."

Calling hours for the two girls take place tomorrow.
