Cody Denmeade has his Mickey Mouse shirt and pants on, ready for a trip of a lifetime to Disney World in Florida.

His adoptive mom, Lisa Denmeade, is grateful to Make-A-Wish that granted the trip to the Magic Kingdom for his13th birthday.

She and Cody will stay at Disney's Give Kids the World Village with relatives.

Lisa has dedicated her life to her son, making life better for Cody who has brain damage, autism, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy.

"His diapers and feedings and that were all supplied for us, so we don't have to take them with us," said Denmeade. "They have restaurants right there that you go to, they have ice cream 24-7, they have two pools; one of them is wheelchair accessible. They have a few rides, and he will be tucked in each night by a Disney character."

Cody will visit the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Sea World.

Wednesday night, Cody's family and friends celebrated his birthday and send off to Disney at Cocca's Pizza in Boardman.

His family said thanks to donations from Make-A-Wish, Cody's and children with potentially life-threatening illnesses can have their dreams come true.
