Calling hours tonight for Warren Sports Hall of Fame president

WARREN, Ohio -

Calling hours are scheduled for tonight from 4 pm until 7 pm at Packard Musical Hall for Shawn Bryant.

He died Sunday morning at the age of 61 after a 12 year battle with cancer.

Bryant worked for Lane Lifetrans and helped develop the EMS Disaster Plan that was used during the 1985 tornadoes.

He was an involved member of the community, working for the Howland Fire Department from 1983 until his retirement in 2006.

Bryant was a member of the Warren Sports Hall of Fame and served as president until this year.

He also served as chairman of Niles Relay for Life for many years.

Additional calling hours will take place from 10 am until 10:45 am before funeral services Friday at 11 am at Packard Music Hall.
