Last evening's severe weather is a reminder that we are heading into the time of year that severe thunderstorms become more common. Severe Weather Awareness Week in Ohio is next week. We'll post safety reminders and other information throughout the week. pic.twitter.com/1DmzjRVv9g— Eric Wilhelm (@EricWFMJ) March 15, 2019
The colder air mass that parked over our area on Friday will stick around during the final weekend on the winter season. Temperatures will be no higher than the upper 30s Saturday and Sunday despite occasional intervals of sunshine. A few flurries will be seen on Saturday, especially in the morning.
A weak weather disturbance is expected to produce just a few spotty flurries and sprinkles Sunday afternoon and evening. The start of the work week should be sunnier but still rather cool. Overall next week looks pretty tranquil with a modest warming trend in the forecast for the second half of the week.
