Police used a Taser to subdue a Youngstown man wanted for robbing a McDonald's restaurant in Austintown.
Officers rushed to grocery entrance of the Mahoning Avenue Walmart just before 7 am Wednesday after learning that a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt had arrived in a gray Ford Fiesta with Tennessee license plates.
That car fits the same description as one used during Tuesday morning's robbery of the McDonald's restaurant down the street from the Walmat.
Police confronted the suspect and fired a Taser at him before placing him under arrest.
Thirty-two-year-old Jawwaad Pusey of Youngstown was taken to Austintown Police headquarters for questioning.According to a police report, employees of the McDonald's identified Pusey as the man who pointed a gun at the face of one of those employees during a robbery.
The report says Pusey pulled the gun after restaurant workers refused to refund money for food because he didn't have a receipt.
When the employee followed the suspect outside, she says he pointed the gun at her again
She did however, get a description of the car for police.
Police are trying to determine if Pusey is the same man who tried to return food for cash refunds at area Taco Bell restaurants.
