After a damp and chilly start, the week will end mild; a cold blast could follow

Posted: Updated:

Look for light rain to taper off later this morning and skies to clear by late afternoon; highs today in the mid-40s will get the week off to a chilly start since the average high is 50.

Expect clear skies tonight, but it'll be cold with lows in the low to mid-20s.

Nice but continued chilly Tuesday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-40s.

Milder temperatures are back starting Wednesday with highs in the mid-50s.

Showers return for the end of the week and into the weekend with temps in the upper 50s to around 60; a stalled front will likely be the culprit followed by a disturbance by the end of this weekend.

On the back side of that, a cold blast looks to dive into the lower Great Lakes.
