Road work scheduled to resume in Lawrence County on April 15th

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced that road improvement work will resume on April 15 for parts of Lawrence County, weather permitting.

According to the press release, the road work will be on Route 65 (Ellwood Road) in Shenango and Slippery Rock Townships.

Flaggers will be on Route 65 to control single-lane alternating traffic between Savannah Road/Old Princeton Road in Shenango Township and Gibson Road in Slippery Rock Township.

The flaggers are scheduled to be on the roads from 8 am until 4 pm during weekdays through May.

Shoulder work, seeding, ADA curb cut ramp installation and signal upgrades are part of the project.

Shields Asphalt Paving, Inc. is the prime contractor for the project.
