WARREN, Ohio -

Warren police were called to Warren G Harding High School after a fight broke out in one of the classrooms.

Police say the incident happened at around 2 pm on Wednesday.

According to the report, a 15-year-old male allegedly attacked another male student. A female student suffered minor injuries during the assault.

A school principal attempted to escort the attacker to his office when the juvenile pushed him causing him to fall.

Officers say the arrestee was found in a school liaison's office on the phone and was told that charges were being brought against him.

According to the police report, the juvenile yelled at police and told them he did not care about the charges and began using vulgar language and racial slurs.

Police say the arrestee broke a table after kicking it and damaged items that were on the table.

Reports say the juvenile was placed in handcuffs with the help of the liaison.

Officers say they tried to calm him while they took him to the school resource officer's office but he refused.

The juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center in Warren.

According to the report, he is facing charges of assault, criminal trespassing and vandalism.
