The Warren infant boy that was reported missing this afternoon has been found and is safe, detectives say.

According to detectives, the infant was brought to police by the suspect's mother.

Police say they have contacted the family to come and get the baby.

The AMBER alert had been issued after an infant was allegedly taken from a Warren home.

Officials say a 2 month old child was taken from a home on the 1900 block of Hazelwood Ave in Warren, OH.

According to officials, the child's name is Jasper Stennett.

Officials from Trumbull County Dispatch say the infant is a two-month-old boy.

Twenty-year-old James Stennett has been booked into the Trumbull County Jail.

Officers say Stennett was apprehended at a home on the 4300 block of Berkshire SE off of North Road.

According to police, Stennett was inside the home.

Stennett is facing charges of domestic violence and interference with custody.

According to dispatchers, the investigation began shortly before 1:30 p.m. when a woman called 911 saying that her daughter was being assaulted by Stennett.

The 911 caller told dispatchers that her daughter stated that Stennett said he was going to "shoot her in the face" and take their two-month-old baby.

The victim told officers that Stennett allegedly made threats that we would have to "shoot him or taser him" to get the child back. In addition, dispatchers say they were told that Stennett allegedly made threats to "shoot officers in face if he is approached".

Officers were advised by dispatchers that Stennett may have a 20 gauge shot gun, that he allegedly keeps in the front of the vehicle with him.

The maternal grandmother of the baby provided 21 News with a photo of the infant.

NOTE: Trumbull County Dispatchers say a version of the AMBER alert that identified the child as a female was incorrect.
