Equipment storage building at Braceville golf course goes up in flames

BRACEVILLE TWP., Ohio -

Golfers at one Trumbull County golf course had quite the sight Easter Sunday while out on the green.

An equipment storage building at the Riverview Golf Course on S.R. 82 in Braceville went up in flames around 1:30 pm.

Several fire departments around the county responded to the large blaze, including Braceville, Warren Township, Newton Falls Joint Fire District, Champion Township, Southington and even Windham Joint Fire District. 

A manager at Riverview told 21 News no one was injured, but the building is a total loss.

He said there were tractors, mowers and half a dozen golf carts inside that were destroyed. 

There's no word yet on what caused the fire. It is under investigation. 

The golf course is expected to be open Monday.
