Primary Results: Non-school tax issues
In an otherwise sparse ballot for most voters in Mahoning County, nearly two-thirds of those who did go to the polls voted “Yes” for the renewal of the 3/4% sales and use tax, also known as the Justice Tax.

Trumbull County
When it comes to spending money on services, Trumbull County voters were generous on Tuesday.
Brookfield voters renewed a levy for police and EMS. Fowler Township approved an additional levy for the same purpose.
Hubbard Township voters not only voted to renew a levy for police and fire protection but also approved an additional levy for safety forces.
Mesopotamia Township approved another half mill for additional expenses.
Columbiana County
The voters of East Palestine agreed to increase the income tax from one-half percent to one-and-a-half percent for police, fire and municipal operations.
Voters approved another three mill levy for the Sandy Creek Joint Fire District.
In Wayne Township, voters okayed another four mills for roads.
