As Thom Duma expands in Warren, city leaders express excitement about future

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio -

Thom Duma Fine Jewelers in Downtown Warren is officially done with it's 3 month long renovation and expansion project.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the store on West Market Street in Courthouse Square to unveil the new Rolex room.

"Rolex wants all of their authorized dealers to have the same environment for their guests whether they are someone shopping for a Rolex in New York City or Warren, Oh," said Thom Duma. "This has allowed us to expand our shop which we were growing out of."

Duma was also able to expand the showroom and add more inventory in the bridal department.

Just like Duma's business is growing, so is the City of Warren.

Thom Duma Fine Jewelers is located in the heart and center of total revitalization.

"When I took over as Mayor, there were some empty spaces Downtown with a lot of vacant properties. Now we are almost at full capacity," said Doug Franklin.

The Downtown Develop Group has played a big part in refurbishing buildings in the city and attracting businesses and people to the area.

"We have a theater that is going to be opening up in January, River Rock at the Amp is going to start back up here at the end of May. So all of this brings a lot of foot traffic to Downtown and that's really what we want," said Downtown Development Group President, Mark Marvin.
