Showers and storms return for the start of the holiday weekend

Posted: Updated:

Friday Evening will remain quite, with no more than a passing shower and low temperatures in the upper 50s.

Saturday will stay quiet in the morning but the afternoon and evening could get interesting. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s and expect it to be a muggy day too, but showers and storms will begin to track in throughout the evening.

The timing of the storms isn't favorable for severe weather but a line of gusty thunderstorms can't be ruled out around sunset and shortly after.

Sunday, showers and storms remain likely with another round of potentially stronger storms the second half of the day.

Memorial Day looks absolutely perfect with high temperatures in the upper 70s and variable clouds.

Showers and storms will be around the first half of next week with high temperatures from the upper 70s to mid 80s.
