Event venue planned under Youngstown's Market Street Bridge

Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

There will be a new place to party, play, and relax in Youngstown, between the new Community Amphitheater and the Covelli Centre.

The Huntington Bank Community Alley is a pedestrian walkway with state-of-the-art LED lighting beneath the Market Street Bridge.

Closed to vehicular traffic, the Community Alley is designed to be a venue for community events and will be available day or night to vendors, food trucks, and unique entertainment.

As part of the 22-acre Riverfront Park Complex, the location can host private community events and special interest festivals, craft shows, and makers' markets.

The final construction phases of the area are slated for late summer. The Huntington Bank Community Alley will begin hosting scheduled events upon construction completion.
