Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Our 21 News team is proud to announce that the station is taking home another Emmy Award.

WFMJ Today has won the Emmy for the "GM Nixes Lordstown's Cruze" broadcast that aired last year when General Motors first announced Lordstown would be idled.

Producers Rachael Kerr and Christa Lamendola both won the award.

Congratulations to all winners and nominees.

The award was presented at the NATAS Lower Greater Lakes Chapter Emmy Gala on June 15, 2019.
