Fire breaks out at home on Youngstown's West Side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

The Red Cross has been contacted to help the resident of a home on Youngstown's West Side where fire broke out early Friday.

Fire crews got to the home on Glacier Avenue just before 3 a.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The person living there wasn't home at the time, but the Red Cross is giving any needed assistance for clothing, shelter and other needs.
