Downtown Youngstown hosting "The Block Party"

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Downtown Youngstown is hosting "The Block Party" on Saturday, the City of Youngstown Events and Citywide Special Projects Department announced. 

Champion Street will be closed between Boardman Street and Front Street from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday for the event. 

Also due to rain and band rescheduling, "Party on the Plaza" has been rescheduled from this Friday to August.

The next "Party on The Plaza" is scheduled to take place on July 5.
