Domestic violence seminar set for Saturday in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

An event to spread awareness and speak about the domestic violence problem is set for Saturday in Youngstown.

"Stop Domestic Violence and Rape" will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church located at 2943 Wardle Avenue Saturday.

The free seminar will focus on the healing of victims through discussions and ways to assist and provide information on the problem.

The seminar also aims to break the stereotypes associated with rape and domestic violence.
