Disturbing allegations out of Youngstown, as investigators say a woman hired out an 8-year-old girl to a man for sex.

Prosecutors have located that man and he is facing rape charges but Mahoning County Sheriff's investigators believe there are other men involved.

Victoria Gregory and Mark Burney, both from Youngstown, have been charged by a Mahoning County Grand Jury in connection with the human trafficking of an 8-year-old girl.

Both  arrested by the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force.

36-year-old Gregory is charged with three counts of rape, trafficking in persons and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred over nearly a 3 year period from Sepember of 2013 to February of 2016.

A tip to Mahoning County Children Services led to the investigation.

Major Jeff Allen with the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department says, "Through the investigation he found that she trafficked an eight or nine year old female for sex to several acquaintances of hers.  We believe it was to support a drug habit of hers, but the investigation is on-going."

53-year-old old Mark Burney is accused of having sex with the child who was 8-years-old when the crimes allegedly began.  He's facing three counts of rape.

The Sheriff's Department says the child is now safe, and investigators have evidence that there are more suspects out there."

"There are about seven individuals involved in this with Victoria Gregory," Major Allen said.

Because Gregory and Burney are facing rape charges they could spend the rest of their lives in prison if convicted.  That's because the alleged victim in this case was under the age of 13.
