LORDSTOWN, Ohio -

Lordstown police are crediting video taken by a truck driver for helping lead them to the men accused of throwing a water bottle at a bicyclist's head.

Police Chief Brent Milhoan tells 21 News that the video shows a car pulling close to a curb along Tod Avenue on July 5, as a passenger in the car threw a bottle of water at the head of a man who was riding a bike.

The cyclist, who wasn't injured, was able to give police a description of the car.

Milhoan says the video helped investigators locate the alleged driver of the car, 21-year-old Damian Brumfield of Warren Township, as well as the passenger 18-year-old Justin Testerman of Niles.

Police say both men have confessed and were taken to the Trumbull County Jail.

They're expected to be arraigned in Newton Falls Municipal Court on Monday.
