
Another Valley community celebrates getting back to normal this weekend with food, face painting, raffles, games, and other fun events.
Poland Township has unveiled plans for its 225th anniversary scheduled for this Saturday, July 24th, 11:00 AM-4:00 PM at the Poland Township Park, 7400 Moore Rd.
“Poland Historical Society members and Township Administration are working together to celebrate this special occasion with the Poland community,” said society president Laurie Fox.
Below is a list of Saturday’s events:
Open to the public at 11:00 AM

Flag Ceremony (U.S., Ohio, Township flags) Flag bearers: Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Welcome to the Park – Ken Filicky, Township Park Chairman
History of the Park – Brent Bowker, Republic Services
Poland Historical Society Program – Regina Rees
Displays will include:
Poland Township Administration - provide free hot dogs, chips, cookies water – donation requested
50/50 Raffle to benefit the Poland Historical Society and the Poland Township Park
