Single car crash knocks out power to some on Youngstown's Southside

Hillman crash

A one-car crash Friday morning has left the area without power.

Shortly after 10 am, a vehicle crashed into a utility pole at Hillman Street and Indianola Avenue, taking out power to the area.

Police, Ohio Edison and emergency crews responded to the crash, and one person was being treated. No one was believed to have been seriously injured in the incident.

Ohio Edison has restored power to the 325 people or businesses in the area that were impacted.
