Water-filled waders blamed for drowning death in Jackson Township

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Mahoning County, Ohio -

The Mahoning County Coroner has ruled as accidental, the death of a 22-year-old worker who drowned on the job in Jackson Township this past October.

Tyler Webb of Lodi, Ohio was working for the Cincinnati-based, Jones Lake Management when he drowned in a ten-acre private lake on farmland just north of Route 76 and west of Route 45.

According to the coroner, Webb was repairing a fountain when he fell from a boat. Webb was unable to surface after the waders he was wearing filled with water.

Webb's body was recovered by divers.
