A Brookfield man has been sentenced to prison for stabbing a man several times.
Travis Serotko, 32 appeared before Judge Ronald J. Rice in Trumbull County Court on Thursday and was handed a four-to-six-year prison term.
Serotko pleaded guilty earlier to felonious assault after police say he stabbed a man 12 to 17 times in the back at a home in Brookfield on August 4th.
The report says Serotko got into a fight with the victim at the Brookfield Acres development.
While on scene, Brookfield Police were told by Trumbull Memorial Hospital that a victim from Brookfield had arrived with multiple stab wounds.
