U.S. House Candidate and current State Representative of Ohio's sixth district Michael Rulli has signed a pledge for an amendment to limit term limits in Congress.

"I'm proud to sign the Term Limits pledge," Rulli said in a post on X. "No more career politicians!"

The signed pledge says that as a member of Congress Rulli will co-sponsor and vote for the U.S. Term limits Amendment. It also says that the signed pledge is not one to self-limit.

The amendment, which was introduced by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and U.S. House Representative Ralph Norman, would limit house terms to three and senate terms to two.

Philip Blumel, the president of U.S. Term Limits (USTL), an organization that advocates for this amendment, says that more than 87% of Americans have rejected the career politician model and want to replace it with citizen leadership.
