YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -
A local business is no longer accepting points from an app designed to drive sales to local businesses.
The Stone Fruit Coffee Company posted on its Facebook that they're no longer accepting YO! App points.
The company says the City of Youngstown has neglected to pay Stone Fruit for their redemptions.
The YO! App launched in November 2021 in hopes of promoting local businesses. People earn points as they shop in Youngstown and then redeem those points at other local businesses.
The City of Youngstown's website says more than 135 local businesses are featured on the YO! App.
21 News has reached out to Mayor Tito Brown for a comment but hasn't heard back.
