Secret indictment accuses Lake Milton man of coercing underage teen into having sex

A Lake Milton man is being called before a judge Tuesday to answer allegations that he had sex with an underage teen.

Twenty-seven-year-old Dakota Cardona was arrested Friday on a secret indictment charging him with felony counts of sexual battery and unlawful sexual contact with a minor, as well as two misdemeanor charges of sexual imposition.

The Thrush Avenue man is accused of violating laws making it a crime to engage in sexual conduct with anyone between the ages of 13 and 16, and coercing someone to submit to having sex.

The secret indictment was handed up on Thursday, one day before Cardona was arrested.
