What began as a fire in a dumpster spread to a garage on Youngstown’s Southside early Friday.

Firefighters arriving at the corner of Courtney Alley and Fairlawn Avenue found that the flames from the burning dumpster had jumped to an unattached brick garage.

The damage wasn’t significant and no one was injured.
