Taqueria El Vaquero opens at Southern Park Mall - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

A new authentic Mexican restaurant is open for shoppers in the Southern Park Mall. 

Taqueria El Vaquero is a family owned business operating right out of the central food court. 

The eatery is a departure from the typical Tex-Mex restaurants, as the owners have decided to focus on offering street tacos and authentic Barbacoa "Birria" dishes. 

"Well the most typical food are queso birrias and taco birrias, which comes with two corn tortillas, a lot of cheese and ground beef. The tacos come with one corn tortilla, ground beef, and onion and cilantro," said Andres Becerra of Taqueria El Vaquero. 

Taqueria El Vaquero opens and closes with the mall daily from 11 to 8. They're also available on Doordash if you want to try their food at home.
