A 55-year-old Newton Falls man is charged with raping a thirteen-year-old school student.

Terry Weekley is scheduled to appear for a hearing in Newton Falls Municipal Court on Tuesday.

Weekley has been in the county jail since his arrest on Wednesday.

A Sheriff’s Department report says a deputy was called to the high school the day before to investigate an incident involving a 13-year-old female alleged victim.

During an arraignment on Thursday, Weekley’s bond was set at $250,000 and he was ordered to have no contact with minors.
