Another area football coach has stepped down.

Liberty's Joe Simon is leaving the program after four seasons and a 19-23 record with three playoff appearances.

Liberty athletic director Todd Smith says, "we are grateful for Joe's time given to the program."

The district is beginning its search for a replacement
