Firefighters battle Green Township blaze

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio -

The Green Township Fire Department and Cardinal Joint Fire District fought a house fire early Sunday.

Emergency services were told about the fire on the 10000 block of Youngstown-Salem Road around 5 a.m.

The home's roof caved in, and the flames charred the shingles.

According to the neighbors, residents got out of the house safely with their pets.
