Second area in Salem experiencing water main break - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

Water service is off Park Avenue in Salem, between Maple Street and E. Pershing Avenue. Residents may be experiencing low pressure and dirty water coming out of the tap.

Water service has been restored to Hawley Street in Salem after a water main break left the area without water Monday morning. 

Crews were called to the section of the road between 4th and 6th streets for a report of a water main break.

Homes experienced low water pressure and dirty water from spigots. 

Utilities Superintendent with the city, Butch Donnelly, told 21 News he expects crews to work on the break for a few hours and will know more after they see what they are dealing with but added that the slightly warmer temperatures are expected to help to expedite repairs.
