2025-26 hunting, fishing licenses now available through ODNR - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

Hunting and fishing licenses for the 2025-26 hunting and fishing seasons are now available through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

Fishing licenses are $25 and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. They can be prused up to 30 days prior to the expiration date. A fishing license is required to fish in Ohio's public waters for Ohioans age 16 and over.

Hunting licenses are $19 for adults and $10 for youths. They are valid immediately after purchase and expire February 28, 2026. All hunters in Ohio are required to carry a license regardless of their age.

Multi-year hunting and fishing licenses are available as well with three year, five year, 10 year and lifetime licenses all available for sale.
