YSN donates $6,000 to the Rich Center for Autism

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Your Sports Network (YSN) CEO/Founder DJ Yokley hand-delivered a surprise donation of $6,000 to the Rich Center for Autism.

The money was collected through gate fees at boys' and girls' all-star basketball and volleyball games.

According to Rich Center Executive Director Dr. Michael Latessa, Yokley had reached out about potentially supporting the organization but the contribution on the day was "an incredible surprise."

Yokley spent his time at the center taking a tour of the facility, seeing the interactions between staff and students, and determining how YSN can further support the Rich Center.

"YSN's willingness to learn... in addition to making a monetary donation, has both YSN and the Center Excited for the future," says Jake Ellis, the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Rich Center.

Yokley delivered the check to the center on Friday.

April is Autism Awareness Month.
