WELLSVILLE, Ohio -

A Wellsville man is facing a felony assault charge after allegedly striking a teenager with a vehicle following a road rage incident.

Anthony M. Carosiello, 38, was charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, according to court records filed Wednesday. The charge stems from an incident on Tuesday, where Carosiello is accused of intentionally hitting an 18-year-old man with a vehicle.

The teen told police he was standing in the grass next to the Aten Avenue exit ramp late Tuesday when Carosiello drove over the curb and hit him with the vehicle, according to an affidavit filed by Police.

The incident reportedly began as a road rage dispute on Route 7. Another person who was with the victim recorded the event on her cellphone.

Police have issued a warrant for Carosiello’s arrest.
