East Liverpool police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say was seen driving dangerously with a small child on the front of a motorized bicycle in the Avondale area.

The police department posted a photo on Saturday, showing a bearded man and a child on a bike.

Officers say they attempted to stop the man, but he fled with the child on the bike. Due to the presence of the child, officers did not pursue the bike.

Police did not specify the exact time of the encounter.
