Dog dies in Mercer County mobile home blaze

JEFFERSON TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. -

Investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Mercer County early Friday.

Dispatchers got a call shortly before 2 a.m. reporting that flames had spread through half of a trailer at Jefferson Estates on West Market Street in Jefferson Township.

When firefighters from several communities arrived, the fire had spread through most of the trailer.

No one was injured. However, a family dog died in the blaze.
