A Girard man who pled guilty to a sex charge back in May has learned his fate.
A court employee tells 21 News that 25-year-old C'Jay Holliday was sentenced to 15 months in prison on one count of Gross Sexual Imposition. He must also register as a Tier 1 sex offender once he's released.
Court records show Holliday was originally charged with rape, but this charge was amended following a plea deal.
An indictment filed in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas in February does not list the age of the victim or specify the exact nature of the incident, but states that Holliday's crime occurred in December of 2024.
