'2025 Ohio Ice Cream Trail' featuring several Mahoning Valley locations

Several Mahoning Valley locations are featured among the 150 locations listed in the 2025 Ohio Ice Cream Trail list, according to the Ohio Ice Cream Trail website.
According to a news release from the Ohio Department of Development, the Ohio Ice Cream Trail highlights family-owned shops, favorites of locals and nationally recognized Ohio chains.
During the 2025 year, 150 business are being featured, including 95 new locations and 55 returning businesses.
Featured in the news release was a returning business on the 2025 trail named Cockeye Creamery, located at 1805 1/2 Parkman Road NW, Warren.
According to the release, Cockeye Creamery is known for its creative flavors and support of Ohio dairy producers.
"We started Cockeye Creamery with one goal: to make the kind of ice cream that brings people together," said Max Hoover, Co-Owner of Cockeye Creamery.
Hoover continued," To be included on the Ohio Ice Cream Trail again is such a special nod - not just to the quality of our frozen desserts, but to the community that supports our business and the families that have made us part of their memories. We're proud to represent Northeast Ohio and excited to keep sharing what we love."
Anyone interested in participating in the 2025 Ohio Ice Cream Trail could visit other locations around the Mahoning Valley, including:

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt, 3931 Handel's Court, Youngstown

Ripley's Scoop Shop, 394 State Route 7, Brookfield
