Traffic moving again after crash on westbound Turnpike in Newton - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

NEWTON TWP, Ohio -

Drivers headed westbound on the Ohio Turnpike in Trumbull County ran into a traffic delay Tuesday morning.

A rescue squad and State Troopers were dispatched to a reported accident involving a car and a semi in a construction zone beyond the Hallock Young Road interchange shortly before 8 a.m. 

Shortly after the crash, westbound traffic was backed up for about one mile for about an hour.  Traffic is now moving again.

No injuries have been reported.
