The Butler Institute of American Art has announced through a Facebook post that its annual American Holiday Arts & Crafts Show will not take place this year.
This would have been the 54th year the arts and crafts show had taken place. In previous years the show featured artisans, fine arts, unique vendors and a variety of crafts.
The institute stated that the "decision was not made lightly" and that the organization understands "how meaningful the event is to so many". Though the reason for the change is still unclear, the institute plans to gather public feedback to guide future plans for the show.
