CLEVELAND, Ohio -
Northern Ohio college students interested in catching a glimpse into the world of a FBI agent are encouraged to apply to the 2025 FBI Cleveland Collegiate Academy.
Cleveland's FBI division says the academy will include talks from special agents and staff about criminal behavior, cyber threats, weapons of mass destruction, investigating and solving cases as well as the SWAT and Evidence Response teams. The one-day academy will be held Friday October 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on-site at the FBI Cleveland headquarters, 1501 Lakeside Ave.
The academy is free—all materials, parking and lunch will be provided. Applications are open to 2025 college sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students. Students interested in the program must be a U.S. citizen and have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; a limited background check will also be required of participants.
The FBI encourages students to apply online at the Cleveland division's website. Applications are due August 29. Any questions about the collegiate academy can be submitted to Cleveland_Collegiate@fbi.gov.
