Ah, the romance of train travel. It brings to mind images of the Orient Express, with its luxurious carriages and lavish cuisine pulling out of Paris in 1883. Perhaps such exotic and dreamy pictures of the mind sparked the growth of train travel in Europe? Well, regardless of its beginnings, European train travel has evolved into a sleek, churning picture of success today.
It’s called the Eurail.
The Eurail is a giant network of “linked up” trains that stretches throughout Europe. This network, made up of railway systems from a multitude of European countries, is one of the best – and least expensive – ways to travel around Europe. Budget-friendly, safe and popular among younger travelers, the Eurail simplifies the process of traveling from country to country.
