Fatone and Fieri to Appear at Friday Phantoms Game

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Nationally known entertainers Joey Fatone, formerly with *NSYNC and recently on TV’s “Dancing with the Stars,” and Guy Fieri, host of four popular Food Network shows, will make personal appearances at the Youngstown Phantoms home game at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown this Friday night, Nov. 13, at 7:15 p.m.

Phantom fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet both Fatone and Fieri at the Phantoms game, which will mark the first trip to the Valley by either star.

Fatone, who burst onto the national scene more than a decade ago as a member of pop music supergroup *NSYNC, broadened his appeal with his role in the 2002 blockbuster film “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” His recent résumé includes a successful and lengthy stint on the reality TV hit “Dancing with the Stars” in the spring of 2007.

Fieri, winner of the second season of The Next Food Network Star, now hosts four popular Food Network shows including his newest show, “Guy off the Hook,” where he gets up-close and personal with a live studio audience, as well as “Guy’s Big Bite,” “Ultimate Recipe Showdown,” and “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

The Phantoms (6-4-1, 13 points), in a tie for second place behind a three-way tie for first place in the USHL’s East Division, will take on one of those first place teams, the Green Bay Gamblers (6-3-2, 14 points) Friday. On a four-game winning streak, the last two at home, the Phantoms host the Green Bay Gamblers Wednesday and Friday and the Chicago Steel on Saturday.

Wednesday, the Phantoms will sponsor Salute our Troops Night with $3 from every regularly priced ticket sold going to the USO of Northern Ohio. Friday, Fatone and Fieri will make personal appearances at the game which will also feature a Phantoms T-shirt giveaway to the first 2,000 fans, presented by Callos.

Saturday’s game against Chicago is Luke Holko Fundraiser Night – donate $3 from each purchased ticket to the Luke Holko Fund by logging onto www.youngstownphantoms.com, printing the Luke Holko flyer and bringing it to the Covelli Centre Box Office. It is also Kids Club Night; each young fan that joins the Phantoms Kids Club will be admitted to the game free, and members can then take part in a special post-game skate with Phantoms players.
